Research

Variable renewable energy sources like solar and wind require efficient, cost-effective storage to reliably balance supply and demand. While lithium-ion batteries dominate for their high performance and scalable production, they still face challenges in cost, safety, lifespan, and recycling—issues that are increasingly critical with the rapid expansion of the electric vehicle revolution. We tackles these challenges by developing novel materials and chemistries, and advancing sustainable battery practices.
